About
Rajavithi Hospital, Bangkok was established as a women’s and children’s hospital on April 16, 1951. In reality, Wandee and Sriwan, the Siamese twins, were successfully separated for the first time in this hospital in 1976. With 70 years of servicing both local and international citizens, it steadily incorporated many multi specialties throughout the years and is now the largest hospital in Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health system. In the hospital, 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy, Elekta LINAC with MLC, Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), and other cutting-edge technologies are employed to diagnose and treat patients. Furthermore, it is accredited by the Institute of Hospital Accreditation Development, and the Ministry of Public Health awarded the Laboratory an A1 (very excellent level) for expert detection and analysis of Thalassemia. The United Nations Public Service Awards 2012 also bestowed a second-class prize on the Hospital for Preventing Diabetic Blindness.Helpful – Thoracic Surgery: Everything You Need To KnowHospital’s ExpertiseENTHead and Neck CancerOrgan TransplantationLaparoscopic and Endoscopic SurgeryCardiovascular DiseaseRecommended Video – Chemotherapy FAQ
