KIMS Global Trivandrum launched in 2002, is a multi-specialty tertiary care hospital in South India with global outreach. In 2005, the Cardiac Surgical department of KIMS Global Hospital, Trivandrum achieved the first Awake Open Heart Surgery, closing a large hole in the heart of the patient.
