Brief About Prof. Ömer GÖKTEKİNProf. Omer GOKTEKİN, an Interventional Cardiologist based in Istanbul, Turkey, is a highly experienced professional at MEMORIAL BAHÇELİEVLER HOSPITAL. With over 23 years of expertise in the field of Cardiology, he completed his medical education at ISTANBUL UNIVERSITY CERRAHPASA MEDICAL FACULTY in 1992. He further pursued ‘Cardiology Specialisation Training’ at SPECIALIST SİYAMİ ERSEK PULMONARY AND CARDIOVASCULAR SURGERY EDUCATION AND RESEARCH HOSPITAL in 1997. Prof. GÖKTEKİN has contributed to the field through his publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He actively participates in various organizations, holding positions such as Board Member of Turkish Society of Cardiology, Fellow of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), President of Turkish Working group of Interventional Cardiology, President-elect of Turkish Working group of Interventional Cardiology, Secretary of Turkish Working Group of Interventional Cardiology, Secretary of Turkish Working Group of Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Fellow of European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and “Diploma of European Cardiologist” by ESC. Prior to joining Memorial Healthcare Group, he has worked with esteemed medical institutions throughout Turkey. Prof. GÖKTEKİN’s special interest lies in the field of Cardiology.
