Brief about Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, New DelhiThe Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCIRC) was established in 1996 and is one of Asia’s largest cancer treatment centres. It has consistently been ranked among India’s Best Oncology Hospitals (Week – Nielsen Survey 2014, 2015, 2016) and has received numerous awards, including Best Oncology Hospital in India (2014), Healthcare Leader Award (2014), and India’s Most Trusted Cancer Hospital (2014). Furthermore, this NABH-accredited hospital has a NABH-accredited Blood Bank, a NABL-accredited laboratory, a NABH Certificate for Nursing Excellence and a NABH Green Occupational Therapy Certification. The Indraprastha Cancer Society and Research Centre is behind it. It also began as a 152-bed hospital and has since grown to 302-beds. Every year, the institute diagnoses and treats approximately 60,300 patients.In 2013, this ISO:9001 and ISO:14001 certified institute launched the ‘Nanoknife’ service, which offers electrical technology as a service.
